Alternate Option: One-Way Mirror Unit
Why do we sometimes see different things when looking at the same object?
On this page, you will find all the materials needed for an ALTERNATE version of the One-Way Mirror Unit. This version used a video of a dolphin and scientists as the anchor for the unit. Links below in RED text indicate new files that are different from the original Mr. Bean version of the unit.
A few important notes about the alternative documents:
On the cover page of the new teacher guides, where it says "there is no next lesson" - please disregard this and move onto the next lesson in the unit.
If you see references to Mr. Bean and People, please use Dolphin and Scientists instead.
If you see references to Room A and Room B, please use Side A and Side B instead.
Example keys and representations use people instead of dolphins, but look for the same ideas and representations for the dolphin video.
The materials include: The full teacher edition, all the lab procedures and teacher masters, access to PowerPoints or Google slides for each lesson, access to all interactives and videos, a digital copy of the student edition, and downloadable student handouts for printing and use in student notebooks.
